Merdeka! Celebrating Indonesia’s 81st Independence Day Together
The spirit of Merdeka came alive at Bent Tree School (Sekolah Bina Maju Bangsa) as our students and teachers gathered to celebrate the 81st Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia.
Dressed in red and white, our school community filled the day with energy, laughter, and togetherness. The celebration was more than a series of games—it was a joyful opportunity for students to experience the values of teamwork, courage, sportsmanship, and unity.

From enthusiastic cheers to determined teamwork, every moment reflected the vibrant spirit of Indonesia. Students took part in fun traditional activities, including:
- Tug of war
- Cracker-eating challenges
- Marble relay games
- Team races and classroom competitions
- Flag-waving and patriotic celebrations
Each activity brought students together and created wonderful memories across our school community.
